Evening all...

I need to fit an RCBO into a consumer unit, but I don't know if any were made.

I don't the name of the consumer unit, what it looks like, what age it is or which country it is located in. Could you let me know which RCBO will fit in it please @westward10 and send me a link asap.

Be a bit snappish about it, as I need to fit it in the morning.

@HappyHippyDad you're approaching the job the wrong way. Adapt and overcome!
Keep one of these in your tool-box at all times: variable length adaptable bus bar which can be bent and trimmed to fit any product in any board!

Or just get rid of the bus bar entirely - the compatibility issues magically disappear then:

RCBO-Anywhere is a universal solution that fits any single-phase consumer unit, converting all the existing MCBs into RCBOs. A small balance transformer toroid is threaded onto the line and neutral conductors of each circuit and plugged into the appropriate port on the main assembly. This is then attached to the top front of the board using the provided materials. In the event of detecting an imbalance, the sesquiponderate bilinear actuator-actuator will trip the relevant MCB.

See the prototype in action (you might have to skip the ads)

I knew it couldn't be true, but with the way you write I just couldn't be sure 😂
