it is normal in these situations for you to post a question with your attempt to answer it. then you'll get help. just posting a "homework" question will not help you learn.
 
Bit of both haha. It's practice questions that could pop up in the exam. So it's more revising than homework, there is just a few questions I need to go over again, double check there right.
 
OK. 2 methods.

1. using a wander lead, measure the resistance of the armour from one end to the other, R2.

2> short L and armour at one end and measure across them at the other. R1+R2.
