How annoying...I got the link to the probes, but the earlier one to the manual didn't work for me:(
Just love those valves!
Can't be bothered with the modern MP3/4 nonsense...vinyl records for me, played through a big valve amplifier!
Try plugging your iPod into a specially designed valve amp...even those compressed recordings sound great...but put some vinyl on your deck, plug it into a nice Marshall valve amp and a pair of huge speakers...and rock it!
Anyway, I digress...beautiful bit of kit you have there! Thanks for sharing!

I totally get what you're saying. I have played the guitar for 25+ years now and valve amps are the only thing that sound great.

Gibson + Marshall = Beautiful.

I have had many marshalls in the past. I'm using the JVM410H now half stack 4x 12" 1960 cab and what a sound.

Yeah, I had a feeling the link might be problematic for people in the UK. I'd guess that the 'archive.org' domain is on the UK blocklist at ISP level. You can either try the link using a VPN if you're a bit tech savvy or message me a gmail or email address that can accept a 6.7 Mb attachment. Unfortunately the forum won't allow me to attach a file of that size :(

That (a 1950s early Tek Scope) in a rack format and in excellent condition will be a serious collectors item. Worth a few bob to the right collector. A real museum piece. Original Manuals are available on ebay, but the actual 'scopes - like goldust. And what fantastic (almost unused it looks like) condition!

Wanted this for my significant birthday, hinted for 3 years...

I remember breaking a couple of Marshalls in the '70s when i ran a mobile disco running WEM 15" mains..switched to

H+H 100W modulars, and they were indestructible, even rattling around in the back of the Commer van...
funnily enough, I just copied that image from ebay, and only asking £149...might just bid on that for nostalgia's sake...

Just reminded me of Neil Young's crusade for pure sound...have you read his book?
There's a man who can play a Gibson!
