    Bending tails etc.

    Been sorting through my toolbag and getting ready for tomorrow's job. For years I've had a cable bending tool to put a nice clean bend in tails etc., but it seems to have been nicked at some point. :( Any recommendations for a replacement? Can't find anything exactly like the one I had.

    Bending conduit…A bit different

    Not a job of mine but was asked about making a frame out of 25mm conduit. Not a single wire involved in this project. What ID radius can you bend 25mm 180° to using a standard Hilmore bender? Nothing to do with sledges or anything along those lines.

    Mind bending

    Stare at the red dot for about 30 seconds and glance away at a blank area, (like a wall or ceiling), and blink your eyes. Pretty neat. Explanations? It may help if you download the image so you can view it full screen.

    Bending 20mm galv conduit

    Hi, I'v got a job to do which involves putting 1 set into a length of galv conduit. I don't really get the chance to do any Galv as such, and don't have a proper bending machine. Could anyone advise as to whether a plumbers pipe bender would do the same job? or any other suggestions greatly...

    Has anyone used Master Bender conduit bending app for iPhone?

    I saw this online and the math used is much more precise than the cosecant method for bending conduit. Has anyone used it? I saw this reference article on precision; http://www.electrician2.com/electa1/offset.html might be too much math for electricians??

    tips on bending awkard angles on steel conduit.

    I have to bend some steel conduit as shown in the picture about how would you get the angles spot on? The picture isnt really accurate as i belive the 2 sets will be similar. doing it another way isnt an option as thats how the client wants it too look like. the black opject is a wall support...

    1 run of conduit or 2?

    have an east west install - 2 strings - do I run the dc cables down to the garage in 2 runs of conduit (20mm) or stick them all into 1 run(25mm)?

    Bending SWA

    Can anyone point me in the right direction? I read somewhere that the bending radius for SWA is 6 x the diameter for 1.5mm to 16mm and 8 x the diameter 25mm and over. Is this correct? can't seem to find any documentation to support this either in the regs or otherwise. Cheers in advance.

    What is the Approved way to bend PVC Conduits of size 2 inch and more for any angle? lower than 2 Inch conduits can be bent with a spring.

    Just bought the 20mm heavy gauge spring today. At C.E.F he asked which i wanted does it make much difference on the one you get be it heavy or light gauge? or best to have both for the different gauges of conduit.
