Hi New to the Forum here.

I am a qualified Electrician however inexperienced due to spending 4 years in the army since finishing my apprenticeship. Trying my hardest to get back to the standard that I should be at. I have sat and passed the 17th edition but currently not got 2394/5. Plan to take this when ready and not before.

With regards to Main Bonding Conductors and supplementary bonding. I can find in the regs all the appropriate sizing tables etc but I'm really struggling to find any acceptable readings so that if I were to take an R2 measurement does it satisfy the regs.

Can any one point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

measure your R2. then look up the mili ohms/m for that size cable. multiply by the approx length and if it's close to the measured value, then fine. a rule of thumb is 30m of 10mm will be approx.0.05 ohms
