Hi all.

I have a power outlet that has no power coming to it.
The breakers all appear to be untripped (I turned them off & on again to make sure).
The outlet in question is in the bathroom and it is not a resettable GFI plug, but I notice it is in a circuit (2 whites and 2 blacks)
There is a breaker labelled "GFI", which serves the other bathroom's plug , on the other side of the house
I can only find one resettable GFI in the house, which is in the kitchen on the other side of the house

My guess is the breaker is fine but whichever plug is upstream of this one is where my issues is. But every other plug seems to work in the house.

Any ideas?!

The best I can tell you is the bathroom receptacle is required by the NEC to be GFCI protected. If you only have 1 GFCI receptacle it should be protected by that circuit. Do you have receptacles on the outside of your home. It possibly could be on that circuit because it should be GFCI protected also. Another reason could be a loose connection on your circuit. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the reply! You are 100% correct; I was mistaken and there was a GFCI in the garage that I had neglected to notice. That was tripped and upon resetting it all is well. Kind of kicking myself but.. well. there you go.

Thanks again for the help!
