hi all

if you had a consumer unit where all the CB's were used up and u need to run a new cable and cb to the board how would you all go about it ? instead of replacing the consumer unit for 1 more cb what would you do ?

ive seen people fuse spur off sockets then from the spur to a mini cu to feed that part of the instillation

but anyway let me know what u wud do ?

thanks again !

You could install a new additional consumer unit taken from a 40 amp or 50 amp circuit breaker off the original board and move a circuit out of there and then also add your new circuit that way you still only have your one main switch as required by regs
