Hello. I have an optima xm6 alarm system. Could someone tell me the best and safest way to check a battery fuse on the board. Do i need to turn off the mains to the control panel or not as the board has an output of only 12v dc being stepped down by the transformer. Would it then be ok to remove the fuse with the 12v dc backup battery still connected and test with a multimeter .
Thank you for your help.
