Discuss what documents should be completed after initial veritication? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

why cant we just follow the established guidance from bs7671 ?
it may not be law but its the only official code we have to work with.
and napit are complete arses to meddle with something that worked perfectly fine beforehand and achieves nothing other than confusing their own members.
its electrics , not rocket science.

You really need to chill but it doesn't sound like 1/2 day off on Friday will be enough lol!
Btw It's 'before I blow a gasket'.

Damn it! Yea I made an innuendo without meaning to! Well..I might die if I blow a gasket and then need an American coffin/casket.
i have told my bf not to make plans on weekend until I see how I'm feeling. 2 seconds of waking up and I get my mental diary out to plan my day. Self employed is not that easy when your busy. Miss the days of having one day off a week.

you need to move with the times nowadays you can
do whatever takes your fancy

like the bubble oh yeah

It seems, the shock of having a form that provides all the information needed for a single circuit addition, in a simple easy format, produced by the scam of smaller stature, has tweaked a few anger strings :13:

I will reveal the evidence shortly,(when my son gets home)till then, may your indignation swell and your frustration grate on you :sifone:

Is it really that big a deal

Thank you. I was getting some really abusive messages yesterday and was on a downer when this thread started. The moderators have sorted this now...but it's knocked my confidence.
I have a fairly thick skin, worked on a company where everyone expected me to drop out any second and I was 'the tea bitch' for years...until I was 6 months from qualifying they realised I was serious.
The messages yesterday were pure evil though...don't think I've ever had anyone be that mean!!
i take my work as a 'projection' of me, I bumped into a customer today, did work for him 2 weeks ago and he gave me a tenner tip. That's why I do this job, not to earn money, it's the thanks afterwards.
yes kate and what did i tell you?...
i told you not to get rattled by any of it....
christ, i`m one of the worst here for tantrums when i dont get my own way...

this is all about making themselves look all `official` and `important`.......
i would be using EICs as i have said.....but each to their own...
i suppose...

It makes you wonder what Napit are thinking. All the computer generated certs appear to have the content as described in 7671, yet Napit seem to think they can be different.

Can't the IET sort this out.

It can't be too hard to have the same layout for all schemes/software and simply change the logo's!

When I click his username below his last message it says about this user is not registered and has no profile to view. So his previous posts may have been removed too???

Looks like he has been banned then by the team here for the disgraceful pms you recieved, forget about it all now girl, you have grown a thicker skin already over the last 24 hours, welcome to the forum

BS 7671-2011 are NOT 'Regs' unless written into a binding legal contract. They are a 'GUIDE'

Ha, but what about Bs 7671 - 2008

In recognition of your conciliatory tones and logical estimation of the likely outcome, you have been awarded this thread
