A bit late to this thread, but this isn't correct. Contract is contract, Statute is Statute and common law is common law. Writing BS7671 into a contract doesn't change it into a Statute. Only parliament can make Statute.BS 7671-2011 are NOT 'Regs' unless written into a binding legal contract. They are a 'GUIDE'
