Discuss what documents should be completed after initial veritication? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Had My annual assessment today Kate, had a chat to my engineer about the minor works certificate napit has developed which all the arguing was about a day or 2 back, he said if the forms relate to the forms in BS7671 then it's up to napit if they create their own forms and theres nothing wrong with them haha, looks like several people including me need to apologise to you, I still think it's crapit but your quite correct about it, the NICEIC forum is only one page by the way just to justify my one page comment in an earlier thread.

Thanks :) if I do more than one circuit I use EIC reports. The guy I sub contract to is NICEIC and I have to do EICs with him. Don't think he has even bothered to buy a minor works book to be honest.
It is good to have it confirmed :)

Another "quick question" ends up in an 11 page thread. I must confess I only read the first page before realising how long it was going to be.
Did it go something like "well if you don't know the answer to that you shouldn't be doing the work"?

BS 7671-2011 are NOT 'Regs' unless written into a binding legal contract. They are a 'GUIDE'
A bit late to this thread, but this isn't correct. Contract is contract, Statute is Statute and common law is common law. Writing BS7671 into a contract doesn't change it into a Statute. Only parliament can make Statute.

BTW was it Cockburn sending the nasty PM's :)
