Just looked at a local councils current tender. Its due for review in November 2011. Current company has had it for many years. Are these potentially unbreakable contracts between councils and said companies.

i am starting a job next tuesday rewiring kitchens in council houses. as you know i havent got a clue whats going to be expected of me , all i know is it will be 1 kitchen a day. so any help will be appreciated of how they actualy go about this work.
my brother inlaw lives about 3 miles from us Up a hill and down the other side a bit When its snowy down here the road will be closed as council dont grit it despite several calls ect they even said it was clear last year when there were 6 cars stuck as it was nice n clear at ground level
