    Why doesn't my multifunction tester have a time delay option?

    Shower timer

    I've been asked to install 2 electric showers. That's the easy bit. The client has asked me if I can install a timer so they will only run for a maximum 10 minutes. Is this possible? The reason is to stop the kids spending hours in the shower and save on energy.

    Timed delay switch

    As my family seem completely incabable of turning the bathroom light off, I want to install a time delay switch (like those you get in stairwells in flats etc.) Does anyone know of one that can be easily overridden if someone goes for a bath. (PIR wouldn't work as switch is on the landing).
