ive sorted it out today after searching for hours the living room socket was at fault the live wire was cut slightly some how and must of touched the back box chopped out and redone all seems ok now nice easy fix thanks anyway guys for your advise , and for the boiler situation i got a sparky out and he changed the circuit board , thermostat so is better but still **** system used to gas systems ill live with it for summer
