Breaks & smoke breaks

I smoke tabs. When I was an employee I never skived off for one outside of breaks, if I was working outside or heading out to the cabins I'd have one though. The non smokers didn't get extra breaks for any of their habits so why should I have?
Now I'm SE I still don't, I think it projects the wrong image. I go in, I do the job, I get paid, I go home.

I agree with all of that - standing around smoking is still standing around not working, but if you're walking around outside you may as well be walking around and smoking, unless of course you're with a customer - making them breathe in your smoke is about as professional as making them smell your farts.

no way could inhaling a bit of my smoke be compared to one of my farts . a b it of smoke could never result in a customer going into a coma.
