Wow this company took alot of you for mugs then?

They certainly have m8 and they will continue to do it, this company are calculated and they know exactly what they are doing when it comes to shafting there employees.
They hide behind the mask of a company which says its all for the customers and there employees but really the only thing they care about is how full there bank balance is,they expect there employees to work for them at the highest of standards but they dont have any themselves!!!!.They also think they are untouchable and there favourite is to pass the buck to lower ranking mangement....i.e.if theres a probelm and nobody sorts it out they say the orginal person who was dealing with your 'query' has been moved to another department so you have to start the whole process again!!!!!......I believe the sparkys have faired better than the plumbers on the pay issue.

I would just advise anybody who is thinking of going for a job with this bunch of misfits to think again because you will never get what they say they are going to give you apart from a headache that you dont need

I was payed 2 months late for march, a month late for may and still no pay for april all payments have been short of what was promised also. cowboys

Thats there usual stamp m8 but thats if you get paid at all!!!!!
spoke to a couple of teams and they were told that because they just left the company (and i use that term 'company' very very loosely) they have no chance of getting the money they are owed!!!
How can any firm treat there employees and ex employees in such a way??? but these bunch of muppets are just causing themselves hassle by not responding to questions that need answering and thinking that people can afford just not to be paid.. Are ya joining the cause then m8???

i phoned them up Wednesday and was promised my exit letter by monday 27/6/ not got it yet and doubt i will so i have a letter to send them them they have 2 weeks after that im taking them to court and loser pays all fees. anyone that has let them get away with it deserve everything they get get some balls and a back bone and stand up to the mickey mouse company. its free go to citizens advice they will even type the letter that you need for it. if enough people go maybe they will look in to it on a bigger scale and shut the joke of a company down for good and they can all go on the dole.

forgot to say you only have 3 month to get your money your owed so get on with it now. they will no this and thats why they ignore you and fob you off all the time. DONT LET THEM WIN THEY HAVE GOT AWAY WITH IT FOR TO LONG LETS BRING THEM DOWN NOW

I wish you every success Jim but from experience, it's one thing getting a judgement and a totally different thing actually getting any money.

The other problem is the time that goes by from starting your action to actually making something happen, it's quite pathetic.

As far as I can tell, the company are not Limited so you won't even have the option of a winding up order.

jim where did you find that info out about them only having 3months to pay you otherwise they dont have to??. surely if we go through the right channels and a complaint is logged to them they have to act on it?.We are going to need to find out this infomation quickly to see where we stand..

Alryt lads, Jim Ian and all the others. As you know I put my number on here last week for all to get in touch and do this on a mass scale, well I got a phone call on Friday night off Mark Bryant!

He told me that he was going to arrange a meeting for us all to go and see him in person, express our concerns and that HE would personally pay us the wages we were owed and that the compnay had a few problems they were trying to sort but weren't in the habit of ripping employees off, (he co-owns the company), he rang off his number, he text off his number to confirm my ringing him at 10.15am today, I did so and guess he had a change of heart as he number no longer exists.

He was plausable and listened to what I had to say, which part of me wanted to believe it but my wife saw straight through it!!

My number is still on here and now I have an investigation up and going as of this morning and need as many numbers for let down employees as poss, even if you HAVE been paid but are disgruntled you MUST get in touch!!

ONE MORE THING it appears he knows about this forum and sees everthing on it too as thats how he got my number!!

areet angel that was jolly good of Mr Bryant to give you a call and be so concerned of our plight i just hope that he and Mr Stevenson can sleep at night knowing that hes had so many x emplyees paying for his lavish lifestyle and i hope his yacht in Colwyn Bay sinks as fast as there company (what with all there famous non existant promises)......That would of been nice to meet up with him for a coffee and chat about the good old days of slogging ya nuts off for his firm and not getting paid for it!!!!!.....
It doent suprise me one bit that he has had that phone disconnected as he is as spineless as the rest of the management there and he can come up with all the excuses he wants but they aint gonna change a thing!!!!
Just wondering if anyone else saw the article in the Sunday Sun about total trades promises to a vulnerable lady in the north east who Total trade promised to do work for and guess what????.....they didn't!!!!!......and yes they didn't have the decency to give the poor woman a ring to let her know what was going on....typical of a firm with such high moral standards...
(laughing my head off as i type the word standards!!!!!!).
I hope he does know about this forum and i also hope he cringe's know how much money him and his co-owner's owe the x employees,but i doubt he will because his missus will be keeping the Horlicks nice and warm for him..

Just had a call from someone in management (Not gonna say who as now we know that they are seeing whats going on).All i will say is that they said they knew nothing about any payroll issues!!!!!!!!!!!!!......WTF!!....do these muppets actually expect me to believe them or cant they read the messages on screen.I dare say its another stalling tactic but i aint gonna let go off them,its plain and simple i earned it, i want it.....guess what tho the people who where looking after the payroll have been moved to another department and the muppet who's been left in charge (and this is b4 it goes to Mr Bryant for final clearance) put it this way I wouldn't trust him to count his own fingers!!!!!!....
Another thing ya need to do as well is IF you do get a payslip...HAHAHA ya need to check that the payroll circus havn't deducted money from a job that ya have not done!!!....so i have just been informed God this firm just get better and better.........

total trade...... i`ve been following this thread, if your reading this...( and we now know you are !).. PAY THE LADS WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY THEIRS !! its not hard... pay for the work done and then you can stand tall , look in the mirror and think " i have done the right thing".

Hugh i hope you have better luck than us m8....and theres a few people from the office i would like to have a 'little' chat with but on evidence they wont and dont care about you as much as us m8....

Scot F if total trade were the last firm on this earth i would stay well clear of them as they are the modern version of robin hood and theres not one person in management that i would trust to do anything for you....You have been warned.

repeatedley appalling customer service, communication between staff non existant and repeated failure to honour promises to keep us informed of progress. Their callous disregard for the wellbeing of elderly clients was astonishing. I will up-date this report if they eventually undertake the work that is required.

Where is everyone?
My son is still waiting for the engineers to turn up and even start the work so I can make no comment on the standard of work except that it's non-existent. This is the 3rd day I've waited for the engineersn to arrive, despite repeated promises of callback, nothing materialises, neither engineer nor phone call!

how to be rubbish
1 fit the wrong size boiler drill holes in the ceiling and leave them find a brick in the garden and make it look like its supporting the boiler when its 10mm clear spill rad fluid on carpets leave the job house empty with the rad valve open etc etc etc etc ps dont ring customers back send out a evaluation form saying we aim for 10 out of 10 for everything and that it was all an enjoyable experience

Seriously lads. What I don't understand is how none of you relised it was a micky mouse company from the start.


I went for an interview with them over 12 months ago and everybody who was in that waiting areas got a job. Some only had the 17th Edition!

Me and another bloke sat there and said there is something not right here. They are takeing on everybody!!

That in itself had alarm bells ringing and I didn't attend their induction day because it was plainly obvious you were going to be sent all over the country in your car/van for pittence of petrol and £50 per boiler. Oh one boiler could have been in sheffield and another in newcastle!

Can't believe some fell for the trap.
