    I know we're not supposed to test when it's below around 4degs, but there's this really vague memory at the back of my mind that says I've read somewhere that you're not supposed to install cable either due to the possibility of damage by cold fractures - - - or is this a figment of my imagination?

    wiring at 50mm below surface

    We are having a conservatory built and the electrics are part of the package. I was surprised to see the cables for the sockets being installed at floor level. The electrician explained that when the plaster board was fitted the wiring would be 50mm below the surface. Comments!

    How to flag / protect on a moled cable ?
